Welcome to ConnectARTE:
Roots that dance and sway, reborn as living art in this new land.
You have arrived at a refuge lovingly woven —like our grandmothers’ shawl— where art, culture, and friendship intertwine like threads, supporting us on this journey of living far from home… and closer to ourselves.
We are Latino creatives who choose to celebrate life through museums, concerts, dance, songs, poetry, and shared laughter. We come together to enjoy each other’s company, transforming as we dance, write, laugh, and celebrate art—and cry, when we need to—before beginning anew.
Here we are not simple observers of art… we live in it, feel it, we make it our own, find inspiration, and create.

Our mission is to create opportunities for transformation through art, which has the power to heal, awaken, and unite.
That’s why we build bridges that connect our community with museums, theaters, galleries, and cultural centers.
We thread connections between the community and Austin’s cultural institutions, weaving a tapestry of connections in three interwoven layers.
